The Krisflyer International Sprint sees impressive Golden Shaheen winner Krypton Factor and Kieren Fallon return to action at Kranji on Sunday.
"We just walked and trotted him this morning and took him to the paddock to familiarise him with that," said trainer Fawzi Nass.
"I don't know if it helps, but I don't think it can do any harm. We'll just hand-walk him tomorrow.
"All's well with him this morning. Happily the shoe he lost earlier in the week didn't do any harm."
Asked about reverting to a turf surface for Sunday's race after running on the Tapeta track in Dubai, the Bahrain handler said: "I don't think it makes any difference to him. His improvement has come from the fact that he's a year older, stronger and more mature.
"And also from coming back in distance, and not from the change of surface. I think he's equally good on both."
Invincible Ash
Michael Halford's Invincible Ash takes him on having run with credit albeit at a lower level in Dubai.
"If she's not fit at this stage, she won't be fit ever," said Halford.
"She jogged over four furlongs and she was in good shape. I'm very happy with her.
"The work's done, and we're just keeping her ticking over. She's in good form, and seems to be thriving on the travel and her new surroundings.
"It seems to have perked her up coming here. I am hoping that the rain stays away between now and the race, as the quicker the ground for her, the better."
Jane Chapple-Hyam's Secret Asset is another European challenger.
"Everything is good," she said.
"We took a blood (test) this morning, and the profile was good, so I am happy. He's ready to go."
