Worthadd made the perfect start for new connections with a Group Three win in Germany.
Formerly trained in Italy by Vittorio Caruso, the five year old is now in the care of Heath House handler Sir Mark Prescott.
Prescott had the option of taking on Frankel in Saturday's Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, a race in which his new charge finished second in 12 months ago, but instead opted for an easier assignment back on the continent.
Short Priced Favourite
The son of Dubawi was sent off a short-priced favourite for the Badener Meile at Baden-Baden and had little trouble in justifying the odds laid about him with regular jockey Mirco Demuro not having to ask his mount any serious questions en route to a two and a half length victory from Neatico.
Worthaad, who won his sole start beyond a mile when taking the Italian Derby in 2010, could be set to step back up in trip with his current engagements including the Prince Of Wales's Stakes, Tattersalls Gold Cup and Coral-Eclipse as well as the option of running in the Queen Anne Stakes over a mile.
