Frankel continued his preparations for the JLT Lockinge Stakes when working at Newmarket Racecourse on Saturday morning.
Sir Henry Cecil's brilliant colt enjoyed a similar piece of work at the track during last week's QIPCO Guineas Festival and remains on course to return to action at Newbury next weekend.
"He's fine. Michael Prosser very kindly let me work on the racecourse proper because I didn't want to go round that bend again on the racecourse side gallop. It was on the soft side, he enjoyed it and at the moment he's on target for next week," the trainer told Channel Four Racing.
The trainer admits he feels some pressure ahead of Frankel's return to action.
"It's important for racing that he continues where he left off and continues to give people enjoyment. Any sport if they have a champion, they follow them. Let's hope he continues to give everyone enjoyment and pleasure," he added.
