Ektihaam, an impressive winner on his reappearance at Newbury, is set to head to York for the Betfred Dante Stakes next month.
Roger Varian's colt impressed on his first two starts as a juvenile, but trailed home last of nine on his final appearance in the Dewhurst Stakes.
Stepped up to a mile and a quarter for his seasonal return, the Hamdan Al Maktoum-owned youngster put some useful rivals to the sword by five lengths and more, and is now set to step back up in grade.
The owner's racing manager, Angus Gold, said: "He's in the Dante and speaking to Roger after the race, that is probably the way we're looking at the moment.
"I think a good, galloping track like York would really suit him. He's a horse with a big stride on him and he keeps galloping.
"There are other options of course, including Chester, so we'll just see nearer the time.
"We were delighted with him last week and it was great to see him come back to form. It was soft ground but I don't think he needs it that way. I don't think it would be a major issue, he probably doesn't want extremes either way.
"Everything looked to be happening just too quick for him in the Dewhurst last year, but hopefully this season he'll do well."
