Brian Meehan has confirmed former champion jockey Kieren Fallon will ride Most Improved in the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 5.
The Lawman colt has been the subject of a major ante-post gamble for the first colts' Classic, and Manton trainer Meehan has revealed that Fallon will take the ride.
A close-up third in the Dewhurst Stakes when ridden by Frankie Dettori, Meehan's charge has been partnered by Martin Dwyer in his other two starts.
Speaking on brianmeehan.co.uk, Fallon, who rode Most Improved in a piece of work last week, said: "I was very impressed with him in every way, physically and mentally. He gave me the feel of a horse capable of winning the Guineas and he has already proved that he is up to that class.
"I could not be happier with him.
"The 2000 Guineas has been a lucky race for me. I have won it four times and, hopefully, Most Improved will make it five."
