Dry day at Aintree
The official going on the Grand National course is now Soft, Good To Soft in places following a dry day at Aintree on Tuesday.

The official going on the Grand National course changed from Soft to Soft, Good To Soft in places on Tuesday afternoon.
Andrew Tulloch, Clerk of the Course and Director Of Racing at Aintree Racecourse, explained: "It has been a bright sunny day and breezy, which means the courses have dried a bit.
"The forecast showers today did not occur but there are more due this week. The rain yesterday was welcome and the courses are in perfect condition."
The forecast is as follows:
Wednesday -dry start with possible showers, some heavy later (up to 3mm might fall) 10C.
Thursday -remaining unsettled, possible showers (up to 2mm might fall) 9C
Friday -sunny spells and possible showers (up to 2mm might fall) 8C
Saturday -possible showers (up to 2mm might fall) 8C
The official going at Aintree changed (4.30pm, Tuesday, April 10) to:
Grand National Course - Soft, good to soft in places (from Soft)
GoingStick Reading 5.9 at noon
Mildmay Course - Chase & Hurdle Courses- Good to Soft, soft in places (From Soft, good to soft in places)
GoingStick Reading - Chase 6.4 & Hurdle 6.0 at noon.
