Unaccompanied: Will miss Cheltenham but go hurdling again at Punchestown

Sky Bet

Unaccompanied will swerve the Cheltenham Festival with her next outing likley to be on the flat.

Dermot Weld's charge had been a market springer for the Stan James Champion Hurdle before disappointing behind Hurricane Fly in the BHP Insurance Irish Champion last month.

As a result her main spring target over timber will now be at Punchestown.

Weld said: "Unaccompanied will not be going to Cheltenham, there are a few races on the Flat for her at the Curragh and in France and then she'll come back for the Grade One at Punchestown."
