Peter Makin's Morache Music is on target to tackle his first Group race in Sunday's Prix de Meautry at Deauville.
The progressive colt's three-year-old career has been far lighter than his juvenile season, when he won three of his seven starts and finished off with a second-place finish in a Listed race at Fontainebleau.
He has raced just twice in 2011, leaving a comeback run at Sandown right behind him when collecting the Shergar Cup Sprint.
Desert Law, who was beaten by a length and three-quarters, went on to take a conditions race at Bath last weekend.
Makin said: "He'll probably go to Deauville as he likes a bit of cut in the ground and the conditions look promising.
"He's a nice horse and is going the right way. He has done very well since his last run and I'm pleased to see the form of that race working out."
Definightly, Prime Defender and Jimmy Styles are other British raiders entered in the Group Three along with the Irish-trained Rock Jock.
