Royal Ascot hero Prohibit could return to action in the Audi King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwood before going on to York for the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes.
However, trainer Robert Cowell would not mind a little ease in the ground for the six-year-old, who gave him a day to remember in the King's Stand Stakes.
"He did a piece of work on Monday and pulled his work rider's arms out. We are all delighted with him," the Six Mile Bottom handler told At The Races.
"He'll probably go to Goodwood next Thursday and then on to the Nunthorpe, but we'll see how the ground is and what the opposition looks like.
"I wouldn't mind good ground or even on the slower side of that. At Goodwood especially they will go very quick if it's fast ground.
"I don't think he'll lay up. I think you will always see him flashing by at the end.
"It would come too late, whereas if the ground is that little bit easier he will handle it."
