Trainer Mick Halford is hoping smart mare Slipper Orchid can pick up some valuable black type in the Coolmore Stud Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary on Thursday.
The five-year-old has already won at Dundalk and Fairyhouse during a pleasing campaign and was last seen finishing fourth in Listed company at the Galway Festival.
She now test the water at Group Three level and Halford admits he would be satisfied if his charge comes back with minor honours.
He said: "It looks a very strong race, but she's working well and in good form. A drop of rain wouldn't do us any harm and if she was placed I'd be very pleased."
Slipper Orchid features among 10 runners in the extended seven-furlong contest, with the Johnny Murtagh-trained Purr Along heading the field.
The four-year-old finished third in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot and fourth in the Falmouth at Newmarket since winning the Lanwades Stud Stakes at the Curragh in May.
Dermot Weld has declared Big Break and Tested, with stable jockey Pat Smullen choosing the latter.
Wannabe Better, Tobann, Witches Brew, Booker, Some Spirit and Harry's Princess complete the line-up.
