Dermot Weld's Pale Mimosa is the remaining top weight on 9st 10lb as a huge field remains in contention for Saturday's Betfred Ebor at York.

The defection of Eye Of The Storm and Camborne leaves Weld's mare, whose three Listed victories to date include the 2012 Galtres Stakes on the Knavesmire, sitting alone at the head.

Among those to be confirmed at the latest stage are the red-hot favourite Pallasator, representing Sir Mark Prescott and now Qatar Racing after their recent purchase of the Ascot winner.

Most of the leading contenders remain in the reckoning, such as Havana Cooler for three-times Ebor winner Luca Cumani, Mighty Yar for Lady Cecil, Peter Niven's likeable Clever Cookie and Northumberland Plate hero Angel Gabrial.

Others of note include the Queen's Bold Sniper and the Tony Martin-trained Ted Veale, although his well-supported stablemate Quick Jack will need a good few horses to drop out to get a run.
