Bawina looked in a different league to her rivals when running out an easy winner of the Prix Lieurey at Deauville.
The Carlos Laffon-Parias-trained filly was entitled to be a cut above given her exploits earlier in the year and so it proved.
She had finished fourth in the French 1000 Guineas and while only seventh in the French Oaks she was beaten just over a length.
Back to winning ways last time out in Listed company, she found the step up to Group Three level well within her compass.
Olivier Peslier was content to sit in mid-division before barely breaking sweat, sweeping round the outside to win untroubled from Indian Rainbow.
Ed Dunlop's Amazing Maria attempted to make all but she remains out of form as she faded tamely in the straight.
Ralph Beckett's Evita Peron fared a bit better in sixth with Kiyoshi best of the British runners, despite being on and off the bridle, eventually finishing fourth.
