Kingman: 'Intention is to run'

Kingman seems increasingly set to take on Toronado in the QIPCO Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday.
Connections of the John Gosden-trained three-year-old have confirmed the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes winner in line to clash with the Queen Anne victor for what is being billed as the latest 'Duel on the Downs'.
There had been some speculation Kingman might not be a definite runner if the ground was deemed too quick, but Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said on Saturday: "All we want is good, nice, safe ground, that's all.
"We're positive. The intention is to run."
