Preparations are fully underway for On Demand's next outing.

The Sky Sports News filly will return to the track at Southwell on Wednesday looking to build on her February third-place at the same track.

Trainer Andrew Balding was pleased with her performance last month and is optimistic of seeing further signs of improvement next week.

"She had a quiet time after her last run to try and get her appetite back," said Balding.

"It was probably a stronger race than usual for a Southwell maiden but she appeared to handle the surface so it makes sense to try and go back there.

"She goes well on a softer surface and distance-wise we could certainly look at going a mile and take it on from there."
