Matt Kuchar: One shot clear with three holes of his second round remaining.
Matt Kuchar holds a one-shot lead at the end of day two of the rain-hit Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
The American Ryder Cup man had reached 10-under-par and had just played his tee shot on the 16th when bad weather halted play for the second time of the day.
Kuchar who is five-under for his round so far, having made five birdies without dropping a shot, will be one of the 54 players who will have to complete their second rounds on Saturday.
Canada's Graham DeLaet is a shot behind Kuchar and he managed to finish his three-under-par round of 67 before rain caused a two-hour break in play.
DeLaet could be even better placed but, having the played the back nine first and reached four-under for the day, he made three bogeys in a row from the third, before bouncing back with birdies at eight and nine.
He is nine-under, one shot clear of an American quartet of Josh Teater, Jordan Spieth, Steve Flesch and Ryan Palmer.
