McIlroy talks about his role in McGinley's appointment as Cup captain

On Tuesday Paul McGinley was unvelied as Europe's next Ryder Cup captain, following in the footsteps of Jose Maria Olazabal. McGinley had long been a frontrunner for the position, but came under late pressure for the job from Europe's victorious 2010 skipper Colin Montgomerie. But late and very public support from the likes of Luke Donald, Ian Poulter and, perhaps most importantly of all, Rory McIlroy on Twitter all but ensured it was McGinley who got the nod. Rory talks about his part in the selection process, the power of Twitter and just what kind of captain McGinley will make at Gleneagles in 2014.
