It has been a better week for Tiger Woods, but the 14-time major champion couldn't hide his frustration after a wayward tee-shot during the second round of the Greenbrier Classic.

Woods was level par for the round as he headed to the par-five 17th, but lost his cool after spraying his tee-shot a long way right and straight in to the water hazard.

Tiger Woods shows his frustration after a wayward tee-shot into the water at the 17th during the second round of the Greenbrier Classic.

After taking a drop, the former world No 1 found the fairway and saw his wedge shot from 100-yards rattle the flag to leave a tap-in par.

Woods finished his round with a birdie to close a one-under 69 and maintain his record of never missing back-to-back cuts as a professional.
