The PGA Tour moves 85 miles north-east from Tampa to Orlando for this week's trip to Bay Hill.
First staged in 1979, the Bay Hill event is one of the more prestigious stops on the calendar and is the final event of the March Florida Swing.
World No 1 Rory McIlory remains an absentee - much to Palmer's annoyance - but the tournament can still boast an excellent field.
Opened more than 50 years ago, the course was given a facelift by Palmer himself in 1989.
There are more than 100 sand bunkers on a course that offers plenty of fairway space for the big-hitters.
Palmer, the seven-time Major champion who owns the club, usually produces a course to reward those who are happy to take a risk or two during their round.
