Branden Grace steamrollered his way to his first European Tour title in two years thanks to a seven-shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.
The South African, who won all four of his previous titles in 2012, started the day with a one-shot advantage over Lucas Bjerregaard, but quickly gained breathing space when the Dane had a bogey on the first and Grace birdied the second.
Bjerregaard fell away badly thereafter to card a 17-over-par 89, while Grace went on to record a four-under 68 and finish on 20-under 268 for the event at Leopard Creek Country Golf Club.
The 26-year-old, who completed the first ever wire-to-wire win in the tournament's history, ended seven shots ahead of compatriot Louis Oosthuizen, who finished on 13-under after a 69.
South African Trevor Fisher Junior (69) and English duo Andrew Johnston (73) and Danny Willett were three shots further back in third.
"It's been a long year and a hard year and now towards the end this is going to be a good Christmas, so it has been a fairytale ending," Grace said at the trophy presentation.
Willett was in contention for a repeat of his Nedbank Challenge victory last weekend when he trailed by three shot, but a double-bogey on the 16th saw him drop six shots in the final three holes to finish with a 76.
