Felipe Aguilar produced a stunning finish to snatch victory in The Championship at Laguna National in Singapore.
The Chilean birdied the penultimate hole before holing an amazing approach shot for an eagle at the 18th to cap a round of 62 and move into the lead on 22-under par. He covered the back nine in just 28 shots.
Anders Hansen had been ahead for much of the day but ultimately fell short after Aguilar’s spectacular finish was coupled with a bogey from the Dane at the 16th.
Hansen eventually finished one shot back in a tie for second position alongside American David Lipsky, the pair signing for final rounds of 67 and 65 respectively.
Thailand’s Panuphol Pittayarat had been a fixture at the top of the leaderboard since Friday but fell all the way down into a share of 11th place after a final round of 74.
Aguilar was four shots behind Pittayarat and Hansen after the third round but came through to seal his second victory on the European Tour, with his other success coming in the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open in February 2008.
"Yesterday, I didn't have a good round and you figure that you're so far back that you have no chance," Aguilar said after his win.
"But today after I shot two-under on the front nine, I knew I had to go deep and I hit the ball the best I ever have and went for every single pin."
He added: "Eight under on the back nine to win is pretty strong, especially making the last one on 18 being between clubs. This is something very, very special.
"I was right in between clubs and with the adrenaline you don't want to hit a half shot. So I took a hard pitching wedge and it went in - it was very special finishing like that."
Rahil Gangjee of India finished fourth on 19-under par, while England's Chris Wood was a further shot back after a round of 67, with compatriot Tommy Fleetwood finishing in a tie for eighth.
