Youngster Ye Wo-Cheng will play in next month's European Masters in Switzerland.

The 12-year-old from China is among the entries for a tournament jointly sanctioned by the European and Asian tours.

Earlier this year Ye became the youngest player in European Tour history when he competed in his own national open.

On that occasion he missed the cut after shooting two rounds of 79.

Another Chinese player, Guan Tianlang, made history at The Masters in April when he teed-up in the Major championship at the age of 14.

The forthcoming European Masters will be held at the Alpine course Crans-sur-Sierre from September 5-8.
