Joost Luiten leads by one heading into the final round of the Irish Open after a flawless 66 on Saturday.

Luiten, who won the Lyoness Open in June, moved to 13-under-par overall thanks to his six-under third-round effort.

The Dutchman had birdies at the fourth, sixth and ninth on the way to the turn in 33 shots at Carton House.

And he quickly picked up three more shots, at the 10th, 13th and 15th, before parring the last three to complete the equal low round of the day.

Luiten's 66 was matched by his closest pursuer, Spain's Pablo Larrazabal, who also produced a bogey-free round to get to 12 under.

England's Robert Rock - who started the day in a share of the lead with Peter Uihlein - is two further back at 10 under after a 71.

Rock's compatriot Paul Casey, without a win for two-and-a-half years, birdied his final two holes in a 67 and is on nine under alongside Scotland's Scott Henry, who followed his course-record 64 on Friday with a 69.

American Uihlein made the ideal start with a birdie at the first but never recovered from fluffing a chip and missing a two-foot putt to double-bogey the third on his way to a 74 and a share of 12th at seven under.

The Irish challenge failed to materialise. Peter Lawrie, at six under after a 67, is the best placed home player, while former winner and Carton House pro Shane Lowry struggled to a 74 and is back on five under.
