Charl Schwartzel is on course for a second mammoth victory in as many weeks as he powered into a 10-shot lead after the third round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

The red-hot South African, who romped to an 11-shot win in Thailand last week, carded an eight-under 64 as he outclassed playing-partner Gregory Bourdy at Leopard Creek.

Schwartzel's domination overshadowed a remarkable feat by Keith Horne, who recorded a hole-in-one at the 192-yard 12th hole for the second day running as he consolidated a place in the top 10.

But the third day belonged to the 2010 Masters champion, who started the round in a share of the lead with Frenchman Bourdy before pulling clear with five birdies in the first eight holes.

Schwartzel dropped his first shot of the week at the ninth, but he reasserted his authority with four straight birdies from the 12th.

-11 G Bourdy (Fra)
-10 K Broberg (Swe)
-10 B Grace (SA)
-10 S Webster (Eng)

Another mistake at 16 was a minor disruption as he rolled in his 10th birdie putt of the day at 18 to close on 21 under, while Bourdy clung onto second place despite stumbling to a disappointing two-over 74.

Bourdy atoned for an opening bogey with three birdies in five holes to remain in touch with Schwartzel, but he undid his good recovery work with dropped shots at 10, 12 and 14 and another at the last.

Branden Grace, a four-time winner on the European Tour last season, surged into a share of third place after a late birdie blitz earned him a five-under 67.

Grace picked up five shots in seven holes after the turn to move to 10 under alongside Steve Webster (70) and Kristoffer Broberg (67), while Horne's eventful day ended on a low note when he double-bogeyed the last to slip to nine under.
