South African Branden Grace aims to become the first man since the late Seve Ballesteros to take three European Tour victories in successive weeks in Abu Dhabi.

Although Martin Kaymer had three wins in a row on the circuit two years ago they were not in consecutive weeks. The last to do that was Ballesteros in 1986 at the Irish, Monte Carlo and French Opens.

A month after coming through the Tour qualifying school 23-year-old Grace has won the Joburg Open and Volvo Golf Champions in his home country.

"I just hope my game stays the way it is and my energy levels stay up," he said after beating Ernie Els and Retief Goosen in a play-off on Sunday.

"I've just been running with emotion. I'll keep playing and keep playing until I'm exhausted and until I find it's time to take a break."
