Following a break of almost seven weeks, the PGA Tour season reconvenes on the Hawaiian island of Maui for winners-only Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
The Plantation Course at Kapalua, with its huge, undulating greens, was co-designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and opened 23 years ago.
This often blustery coastal location experienced some harsh weather conditions 12 months ago when the first three days of the tournament were completely wiped out.
The event finally got under way on Sunday, was completed on Monday, and reduced to 54 holes.
Organisers will hope that the 16th edition of the Kapalua tournament will enjoy more favourable conditions than last year, with this week's event starting on Friday and ending on Monday - due to its close proximity to the festive season.
As is tradition, only those who won official tournaments during 2013 are invited to compete this weekend.
