The Jack Nicklaus-designed Montreux Country Club is the venue for the 15th staging of the Reno-Tahoe Open.
Opened in June 1997 and given a facelift five years later, Montreux sits more than 5,000 feet above sea level.
One of the PGA Tour's more picturesque locations, the course rests close to the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, with towering Pine trees a stunning feature of its layout.
The course also has reasonably undulating putting surfaces.
One extremely key point - for the second straight year, this 72-hole tournament uses a Modified Stableford format rather than the traditional diet of strokeplay.
