The European Tour returns to South Africa for a fourth time this season, having spent the last three weeks in the Middle East.

The Joburg Open, being held as a co-sanctioned event for the seventh straight year, will once again be contested over two courses at Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club.

Rounds one and two will be shared between the East and West courses, before the former takes charge for the final 36 holes.

Home players have won the last three Joburg Opens, with two-time winner Charl Schwartzel enjoying a great record at the venue.

In addition to scoring a 61 in 2011, the 28-year-old has also carded a brace of 63s during the tournament's short history.
