Alvaro Quiros: Took the title last year with a winning score of 11-under
The European Tour moves 250 miles east for this week's Omega Dubai Desert Classic at Emirates Golf Club.
First held in 1989, the tournament is the oldest of the events hosted by the Gulf States with Emirates taking centre stage for the 21st time.
This 24-year-old layout winds its way through sand dunes and has water coming into play on 10 holes.
The Desert Classic remains one of the more prestigious titles on Tour and is a popular destination for the pros.
So who's taking part this week?
Thomas Bjorn: Winner in 2001, last year's 'Comeback Kid' did well to finish inside the top 25 of last week's tournament at Doha where he opened with an horrendous 79 - and then followed it with a 65.
George Coetzee: The fast-rising South African has developed into one of the Tour's most consistent performers. He tied-for-sixth in Abu Dhabi and will be making his Emirates debut this week.
Anders Hansen: Finished strongly in Qatar where his closing round of 67 left him in a tie-for-12th. The popular Dane was a joint runner-up at Emirates last year.
Martin Kaymer: His 16 rounds at Emirates average an impressive 69.50 and, in four visits to this event, he has registered three top-four finishes. The German turned in a respectable top-10 performance at Doha on Sunday.
Rory McIlroy: The champion from 2009 who finished second in Abu Dhabi during January and opted to give last week's Qatar Masters a miss - so he should be completely fresh.
Lee Westwood: The ever-consistent Englishman will always be a threat and, in the winds of Doha last week, carded three sub-par rounds to finish in a tie-for-12th at the end of 54 holes.
