Anna Nordqvist of Sweden has a four-shot lead after three rounds of the Honda LPGA Thailand event, having shot a five-under-par third round of 67.

The World No 27 is chasing her first win on the US Tour since 2009 and has reached 11-under-par for the tournament after four birdies and an eagle at the Siam Country Club.

World No 1 Inbee Park (67) and America's Michelle Wie (69) are in joint-second place, four shots behind Nordqvist.

The Swede birdied the par-four second but bogeyed the fifth and was level-par for the day after nine holes, only to surge clear of the field with a brilliant back nine of 31.

Having eagled the par-five 10th, she picked up further shots at the 12th, 15th and 18th to match Park's 67.

The South Korean was one-under for the day after her front nine but then birdied four holes in a row from the 10th before finishing with five pars.

Julieta Granada is on her own in fourth at six-under after a round of 71 while Yani Tseng (66), Cristie Kerr (68), Lydia Ko (69) and Lexi Thompson (69) are all at five-under.

Scotland's Catriona Matthew began the tournament with a 76 but bounced back with a 71 on Friday and had reached six-under for the tournament when she capped a scintillating run with an eagle at the par-four 15th to reach nine-under for her third round, after seven earlier birdies.

Unfortunately, she made a double-bogey seven at the last and lies in a large 10-strong group at four-under after finishing with a 65.
