South Korea's Inbee Park stretched her in the Mission Hills World Ladies Championship going into the final round in Hainan, China.

Park started the third round with a one-shot lead over Carlota Ciganda but the Spaniard's charge up the leader imploded on Saturday.

Cigando led by three after birdieing three of the first five holes but her lead had been cut to one at the turn and a triple-bogey seven on the 17th left her well off the pace.

Park had a slow start with a bogey at the par-five first but five birdies down the back nine saw her post a three-under 69 to move to 14-under for the tournament.

Norwegian Suzann Petterson returned a second successive 67 to lie two shots off the pace in second place with Park's compatriot Soo Jin Yang a further two shots adrift.

Ciganda is in fourth at eight-under following a 74, 11 strokes worse than the previous day's effort, with four players sharing fifth place at seven-under.
