Heavy rain delayed the start of the second round of the Volvo Champions event in Durban, South Africa.

Play was due to resume at 9 am local time but a two-hour suspension was announced to allow greenkeeping staff to sort out the course at Durban Country Club.

The pros finally teed-off at 11 am with Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee leading the way after 18 holes, after he carded a seven-under-par 65 on Thursday.

Jaidee is three shots clear of home pros Ernie Els and Louis Oosthuizen.
