Daniel Popovic: The world number 1,251 is still tied for the lead
Daniel Popovic and Xin Jun Zhang are the two unlikely names at the top of the leaderboard at the halfway mark of the Australian PGA at Coolum.
Popovic, world ranked 1,251, added a 70 to the the opening 64 which had given him the first round lead and he was later joined at the top of the pile by world number 793 Zhang.
Second round leaderboard
(Aus unless stated)

-8 G Ogilvy

China's Zhang matched Popovic's 10-under total after a second successive 67 although he could have led outright but for a closing bogey.
Former US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy is the big name lurking just off the pace while the top 10 features plenty of other Australians who have plied their trade on the US Tour, along with 2011 Open champion Darren Clarke.
Ogilvy mixed six birdies and three bogeys in a round of 69 at the Queensland track and is now tied third, two shots back, alongside fellow Aussie Matthew Griffin (67).
Steven Bowditch, who recently came through US Tour School, shares fifth place with Mathew Goggin and Brad Kennedy on seven-under while Peter Senior, who, aged 53, won last week's Australian Open, is tied eighth with Rod Pampling.
Northern Irishman Clarke fired a 69 in round two and shares 10th with 10 others on five-under. They include three-time European Tour winner Richard Green and 2009 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Marc Leishman.
Joint-leader Popovic said he was "stoked" to still be on top of the leaderboard, adding: "I can't get the smile off my face actually."
Ogilvy, meanwhile, agreed that his experience will stand him in good stead on the weekend. "It helps," he said. "Being on the first tee can be a scary place the first few times you are there on the weekend."
