Martin Kaymer is one of four Europeans set to become full members of the PGA Tour in 2013.
The German has been eligible to be a member since he won the USPGA Championship at Whistling Straits in 2010.
Kaymer holed the putt that clinched Europe's remarkable comeback victory in the Ryder Cup in September.
However, next year he will sign up full time alongside Swede Peter Hanson, Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium and Englishman David Lynn who have also decided to test their skills on American soil.
Another pro set to ply his trade in the United States is Japan's Ryo Ishikawa.
In 2013, 28 of the world's current top 30 will be PGA Tour members.
