Westwood will be in familiar company when he starts his bid to win the Sun City crown for an unprecedented third consecutive year on 29 November.
Six of his victorious Ryder Cup team-mates will also be in South Africa with Paul Lawrie, Justin Rose, Nicolas Colsaerts, Peter Hanson, Martin Kaymer and Francesco Molinari also making the trip.
Three home players will be in attendance - Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel and Garth Mulroy - but Ernie Els has opted not to take part as he wants to spend more time with his family.
Bill Haas is the lone American in the 12-man field which is rounded out by US-based Swede Carl Pettersson.
Tournament director Alastair Roper said: "It was marvellous for us that the Ryder Cup happened at the right time.
"It bodes well for a good tournament because it shows that the players are at height of their game."
On Els' decision, Roper added: "The time of year is a bit difficult. He wants to spend time with family and has decided to miss this year. We respect his decision and we hope to see him back again."
