Rory McIlroy believes Darren Clarke would make a fine Ryder Cup captain, but insists Paul McGinley is the ideal man to lead Europe in 2014.
Tiger Woods echoed the sentiments of both McIlroy and Westwood, insisting Clarke would prove an excellent skipper if selected. "I think he would make a great captain," stated the American. "Darren's one of my best friends out here, he's just a great guy. "I think he'd make a great leader. I don't know what the process is for you guys, how you select your captain - but if he is, he'd be a great one."
