Matt Kuchar: Down to 11th in the latest world rankings
Matt Kuchar has slipped out of the world's top 10 despite lifting the World Cup with Gary Woodland on Sunday.
The team event didn't carry any ranking points so Kuchar (down to 11th) has been replaced at number 10 by compatriot Nick Watney in the latest standings, still topped by Luke Donald.
The only other change in the top 10 sees American Dustin Johnson and Steve Stricker switch places at five and six.
It could have been different had the leading Aussies not come up short in the Australian PGA.
Victory for Adam Scott or Jason Day at Coolum would have lifted them up to fifth place, overtaking Johnson and Stricker.
But Scott finished tied fourth while Day was tied ninth to leave them still seventh and eighth respectively in the latest standings.
Scott, in particular, must have been thinking what might have been. He eventually finished just two shots out of the play-off despite enduring a nightmare start to his first round when he visited water three times whilst slipping to five over after just eight holes.
Australian PGA winner Greg Chalmers is now up to 63rd after adding to his Australian Open triumph just two weeks earlier.
The left-hander was down in 215th before winning the Aussie Open so has risen 152 places after banking the first two legs of the Australian Triple Crown.
Tiger Woods has dropped one to 52 and will be hoping to climb back into the top 50 with a big performance in this week's Chevron World Challenge in California which has carried world ranking points since 2009.
Top-ranked Donald can add to his lead by winning the Nedbank Challenge in South African where world number two Lee Westwood and world number four Martin Kaymer are in opposition.
