Tiger Woods: Ready to roar in the 2012 majors?

Sky Bet

So much for the golf season winding down.

The weekend just gone saw three of the biggest names in the sport all collect trophies.

Tiger Woods ended his two-year victory drought with a dramatic victory in the Chevron World Challenge in California. Rory McIlroy kept alive his Race To Dubai hopes by holing out from a bunker to capture the Hong Kong Open. And Lee Westwood produced an imperious display of ball-striking to see off an elite 12-man field and defend his Nedbank Golf Challenge crown.

So let's ask a simple question....

Which of the three players do you think will make the biggest impact in next year's majors?

For the record, the four major venues for 2012 are:

The Masters - Augusta National
US Open - Olympic Club, San Francisco
The Open - Royal Lytham, Lancashire
USPGA - Kiawah Island, South Carolina

Sky Bet have laid down their opinion by putting up odds on the Majors Cup - an award given to the player who scores the lowest aggregate score across all four majors.

They make Woods the 7/2 market leader, McIlroy 8/1 second favourite alongside Luke Donald, with Westwood at 10/1.

So will 2012 be the year of the Tiger? Will Westwood finally land a first major? Or will Rory show that the future lies in his hands?
