Butch Harmon explains his winning Masters Emotion choice

Tiger Woods of the US celebrates winning the 2005 Masters Golf Tournament Championship 10 April 2005 at the Augusta National Golf

Butch Harmon has chosen the Tiger Woods chip-in in 2005 as his winning choice in our Masters Emotion competition.

Woods produced one of the most dramatic moments in Masters history with his stunning pitch-in for birdie 10 years ago, when he went on to win his fourth Green Jacket in a play-off against Chris DiMarco.

After considering all 10 celebrations, Butch narrowed the choice down to three before making his decision.

One of the best shots played ever in a major championship, Tiger’s tee shot at the Par-3 16th finished on the edge of the green...

"All 10 were spectacular, but I kind of narrowed it down to Phil Mickelson winning his first Masters in 2004 and Adam Scott edging out Angel Cabrera in 2013, but I thought Tiger's shot on 16 stood out," said Butch.

"It was the whole package, not just the emotion. There was the quality of the shot, the drama of how it happened, the tournament situation, and the way Tiger and Steve Williams stopped and watched as the ball stopped on the lip of the hole and hanging there before tumbling in.

"The emotion of the whole thing was the reason I picked that shot. It was the 16th hole on the final day, not the 18th, but what people forget is he bogeyed the next two holes before winning the play-off.

Sky Sports pundits remember Tiger Woods' amazing shot that won him his last Green Jacket on the 16th Hole, 10 years ago in 2005

"But that particular shot on 16, I've been over there and I think you can make that shot one in around 30 attempts, but he made it the one time he needed to.

"The look on Steve and Tiger's faces when they thought it was going in, then they stopped because it didn't, and then all of a sudden it dropped and the celebrations started. For me, that was the best one."

The winning entry will be drawn on Monday, 13 April.
