Austin in Texas will host the WGC Match Play Championship for four straight years starting in 2016.

Texas-based computer manufacturer Dell is to take over as the tournament’s new sponsors next year, when the event will run from March 23-27.

However event organisers, the International Federation of PGA Tours, is yet to announce a venue for the competition which features the world’s top 64 ranked players.

PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem said in a statement. "We're confident that Dell will find the World Golf Championships to be an extremely effective and valuable global marketing and business-to-business platform."
