England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff is one of six players one shot off the lead after the opening round of the Blue Bay LPGA event in Sanya, China.

American Jessica Korda leads the way after a flawless round of six-under 66, which included five birdies on the opening nine, but the leaderboard looks very congested immediately behind her.

Ewart Shadoff had a day of ups and downs, carding seven birdies, but bogeys on the first and ninth left her level with Michelle Wie, Shanshan Feng, Lee-Anne Pace, Caroline Masson and Brittany Lang.
