Joshua: opens the Wembley card against Matt Legg
Anthony Joshua will take on Matt Legg to kick off the biggest night in British boxing at Wembley on May 31.
"To box at the national stadium on a bill of this magnitude is a real honour and I plan to kick the night off with a bang against Matt."
The Olympic gold medallist is the first fighter on the card of Froch v Groves II: Unfinished Business, on May 31, live and exclusive on Sky Sports Box Office.
Joshua's fight will also be screened live on Sky Sports 1 early that evening and he is promising to start things off with a stunning knockout, following Legg's confirmation as opponent.
"I can't wait to box at Wembley on May 31, it's going to be an unbelievable experience," said Joshua.
"To box at the national stadium on a bill of this magnitude is a real honour and I plan to kick the night off with a bang against Matt.
"I know he will want to put on a show on such a huge occasion but I will be looking to add another big KO to my collection."
Legg has a professional record of 7-2 but faced none other than James 'Lights Out' Toney in the recent heavyweight Prizefighters at York Hall in November.
Joshua (5-0) is looking for a sixth successive knockout win and will be the first up on what many are calling the biggest night in British boxing history.
Fellow Olympic gold medallist James DeGale takes on Brandon Gonzales for the right to fight the winner, Carl Froch or George Groves, for the IBF super-middleweight world title.
Jamie McDonnell will fight Tabtimdaeng Na Rachawat for the vacant WBA Bantamweight and Londoner Kevin Mitchell will take on Ghislain Maduma in a final eliminator for the IBF lightweight crown.
