Jules Bianchi: Will take a grid penalty in Monaco
Jules Bianchi will take a five-place grid penalty in Monaco after Marussia were forced to change his gearbox for reliability reasons.
The Frenchman had qualified in 19th for the grand prix in Monte Carlo, but will now start from 21st position - he cannot drop any further as Marcus Ericsson will start from the pitlane as punishment for his clash with Felipe Massa in qualifying.
"Unfortunately, having spent some time looking at Jules' gearbox last night, we have found a problem and had to change it this morning," Marussia said.
"We'll take a five-place grid penalty for Jules for the change, which is for reliability reasons but would have affected his qualifying session."
