It's a journalists' takeover on The F1 Show this week as three of the paddock's finest writers convene to discuss the headline stories of the compelling 2013 season so far.

Chairing the debate will be David Croft with the Sky Sports F1 commentator to be joined by Kevin Eason from The Times, Jonathan Noble from Autosport and, making his F1 Show debut, Michael Schmidt from Germany's influential Auto Motor und Sport magazine.

Crofty and his guests will be looking back at the key events that have got us all talking since the season kicked off back in Australia in March, as well as looking ahead to the stories which would dominate the agenda over the rest of the year.

And it's not like the season has been short on drama and intrigue now, is it?

There was the very public reopening of team-mate tensions at Red Bull with the Multi-21 controversy of Sepang. Then over at Mercedes, we had all the events of 'Testgate' following the team's private running at Barcelona.

Amid all that we've had Lewis Hamilton's progress in his first season away from McLaren - and most recently his supreme win in Hungary - and a 'silly season' that is increasing living fully up to its name. Oh, and have we mentioned tyres?

So join Crofty and his three-strong panel on Friday night from 8pm as they debate all of those talking points and a whole lot more as anticipation continues to build for the second half of the season.

Remember, if you miss out on the 8pm airing of the show, the programme will be repeated across the weekend on Sky Sports F1 with the first three repeat shows at 11pm on Friday, 10am on Saturday morning and then again at 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
