With two months of feverish work behind the scenes completed, the Formula 1 world is poised to burst back into life as preparations for the 2013 season really ramp up.

A busy week of car launches kicked off with Lotus - live on Sky Sports News - on Monday evening while the opening track action is under a week away with the first wheels on the 2013 cars to be turned at Jerez on February 5.

So, with that in mind, it's about time we gave you a glimpse of what's coming up on Sky Sports F1 over the next few weeks.

First up, on Monday at 4pm, the channel broadcast a brand new interview with Lewis Hamilton conducted by our very own Johnny Herbert.

Johnny travelled to Brackley to see the 2008 World Champion officially unveiled to his new team's workforce and then sat down with him to talk all things 2013. It's certainly an interview not to be missed so fret not if you didn't see it on Monday night as it will be repeated across the coming days.

As for the Lotus launch, it will be shown on Sky Sports F1 on Wednesday 30th, first at 7.30pm and then again at 10pm.

And on Friday night at 7pm, the channel will also be showing a recording of the launch of the MP4-28 by McLaren at their Woking headquarters. It's then repeated at 10pm.

Mercedes launch the car that Lewis Hamilton will drive in the new season on the eve of the first test at Jerez, on Monday 4 February, and Sky Sports News will be bringing that to you live, with Rachel Brookes trackside.

The following day - February 5th - sees the track action get underway and, as mentioned previously, Sky Sports News will be broadcasting regular live updates from across all four days, while here at Sky Sports F1 Online from dawn to dusk we will be providing rolling live interactive commentary along with the latest pictures, video, analysis and reaction from trackside.

But should you miss some, or all, of the updates from the track then fear not as each evening from 9pm on Sky Sports F1 the channel will show a 15-minute compilation programme featuring the TV interviews from the day again.

Testing on Sky Sports

From dawn to dusk, Sky Sports Online will be providing live interactive commentary from trackside at both Jerez and Barcelona on every day of testing this winter, while Sky Sports News will be providing regular live updates from the tests, starting with Jerez on February 5-8.

A round-up show featuring the day's interviews from Jerez will go out at 9pm each evening of the test on Sky Sports F1.

And if that wasn't enough then following the round-up show each night, Sky Sports F1's intrepid pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz will be bringing you nightly editions of his renowned Notebook to ensure you are most definitely up to speed with all the latest goings on at Jerez as the grid gets to grips with their new cars.

It will be the same drill when the testing schedule moves north to Barcelona for group tests two and three, although Ted's Notebook on Fridays February 15 and March 1 will come in the form of live contributions to The F1 Show on those respective evenings.
