Sky Sports F1's Brazilian Grand Prix schedule: The title showdown

So it has all come down to this.

After eight months of ups and downs across 19 races and four continents, the 2012 Drivers' title battle has distilled into a one-race shootout for the right to be a three-times World Champion between Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.

Sky Sports F1 has brought you the live action on every step of the way since the green light on the season's first practice session went on way back in Australia in March and needless to say the channel will be pulling out all the stops to bring you all the drama from the Interlagos title showdown in the most extensive way possible.

Across the weekend the team will be charting how the battle between Vettel and Alonso has ebbed and flowed through the season and taken us all the way down to Brazil, from the Spaniard's summer surge to Red Bull's late-season comeback.

A man who was no stranger to tense title showdowns during his career was Ayrton Senna and in the latest of our stunning Echoes of the Past series, legendary F1 journalist Nigel Roebuck will look back at the legendary Brazilian's career in episodes during both our qualifying and race shows. The award-winning documentary film on Senna's life and career will also be shown on the channel ahead of our race-day show.

And while he may be a mere bystander in the title battle, Lewis Hamilton, as ever, remains to the forefront of F1 story following his brilliant win in Austin last weekend and ahead of his 110th, and final, race as a McLaren driver - at least for now - we sit down with him for an in-depth interview as he looks back on his time at Woking and, of course, forward to his new adventure at Mercedes.

That is of course even before we get to all the track action itself; the channel's live coverage of the title-deciding race starting at 2.30pm on Sunday for a 4pm race start.
