F1 will finally return to our screens this weekend and Sky Sports F1 will be offering you the full Spa treatment.

After the long summer break, F1 will be back with a bang as the sport reconvenes at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit for round 12 of the 2012 season.

Spa is widely regarded as one of the best circuits on the calendar, but what is it that makes it so special? Our live coverage of this weekend's event will begin on Friday morning and our broadcast of the day's two Practice sessions will include a special feature with Martin Brundle in which he takes a classic-car tour of the classic circuit in a bid to unlock Spa's secrets.

Sky F1's Belgian GP Line-Up:
  • Martin Brundle
  • David Croft
  • Anthony Davidson
  • Johnny Herbert
  • Ted Kravitz
  • Simon Lazenby
  • Natalie Pinkham
  • Georgie Thompson
  • On Saturday, Martin will then join forces with three-times Spa victor Damon Hill to provide a corner-by-corner track guide of the famed 4.3-mile circuit while, not to be outdone, Natalie Pinkham will be enjoying Spa treatment of her own courtesy of World Champions Red Bull as she tackles the circuit on the team's simulator under the watchful eye of Daniel Ricciardo.

This weekend will also mark a special occasion for Michael Schumacher as the Mercedes driver celebrates his 300th Grand Prix and so we'll be looking back at the good, the bad and the ugly of Michael's astonishing and sometimes controversial career on the SkyPad. Staying on a retrospective theme, albeit of a slightly more short-term variety, we'll be reviewing Lewis Hamilton's critical victory in Hungary in the company of the McLaren driver himself.

Lewis' victory leaves the World Championship fascinatingly poised, but could Belgium supply a convincing case for a fifth contender to be considered as a realistic challenger with Kimi Raikkonen widely tipped to claim his first victory since returning to the sport? And will Lotus' new DRS system provide yet another twist in this season's remarkable tale?

All will soon be revealed - all you have to do is join on Sky Sports F1...
