A relaxed but determined Bruno Senna is refusing to pay the ongoing speculation about his future any attention as he battles to remain on the 2013 F1 grid.

Despite only trailing Williams team-mate Pastor Maldonado by eight points in the Drivers' Championship, the Brazilian's place with the team is under threat from the emerging talent of Valtteri Bottas.

The Finn, who has regularly impressed during his Friday outings this term, has been widely tipped to replace Senna for next season, but the 28-year-old is refusing to pay the incessant rumours any attention.

"I just need to keep focusing on doing my job," Bruno told Sky Sport News during a Williams 'open day' at Silverstone. "I've had some bad luck recently which has put me on the backfoot in terms of results, but I've had many strong races and I just need to keep on with that and hopefully that will result in a seat for next year."

Though the rumour-mill has cast Senna's Williams in considerable doubt, it has also emerged that he could be a contender to replace either Heikki Kovalainen or Vitaly Petrov at Caterham.

"The most important thing is the result on the race track," responded Senna. "If you get results, your future is normally in better shape.

"[Staying in] Formula 1 is my objective and I'll keep pushing to make sure I stay."
