Sky Sports F1 is paying its own tribute to Ayrton Senna with a week of programmes marking the 20th anniversary of the legendary Brazilian's death.

One of the greatest drivers - if not the greatest - to ever grace the sport, Senna lost his life on May 1st 1994 in an accident during the San Marino GP, with family, friends and fans worldwide left mourning the loss of a man whose talent and passion shaped an arguably peerless charisma.

Damon Hill was his Williams team-mate at Imola on that fateful day and his reminiscences start the series in an unmissable show on Saturday at 8pm before Murray Walker, who commentated on each of Senna's 41 grand prix wins and three world titles, discusses his legacy with journalists Maurice Hamilton and David Tremayne.

Into next week and Motor Sport magazine's Nigel Roebuck presents Echoes Of The Past on Monday night, with Ted Kravitz presenting a one-off Senna Notebook on Tuesday at 8.30pm.

Senna was not the only driver to lose his life that weekend and we also remember Roland Ratzenberger on Wednesday night before Alain Prost discusses the rivalry - that surely became one of the most fractious in any sport - between himself and his McLaren team-mate at 8.30pm.

Ron Dennis gives more insight on Senna's time at McLaren in A Winning Partnership on Thursday before an episode of our Legends series. The F1 Show then rounds off the week with a Senna Special on Friday May 2nd at 8pm.
