Marussia Team Principal John Booth says they are far from taking their lead over Caterham in the Constructors' Championship for granted with just two races to go.

Neither Marussia nor Caterham have yet to score a point but the former outfit hold the all-important 10th spot in the standings thanks to Timo Glock's 12th place at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Their lead comes in spite of the performance advantage enjoyed by Caterham, who have KERS and also introduced extensive updates to their car in Abu Dhabi as they seek to fight back.

Booth knows the best chance for both teams will likely come as a result of race incidents further up the pack but has urged Marussia, who have qualified cars ahead of Caterham at two of the last four races, to maintain their recent momentum.

"Last weekend's race in Abu Dhabi had us on the edge of our pitwall seats at various points, as it reminded us that to hold on to 10th in the Constructors' Championship, we cannot control what happens further up the field, ahead of our own private duel with Caterham," said Booth ahead of next week's U.S. GP in Austin.

"We have to continue closing that gap and find the momentum to get ahead of them on track.

"We've come very close in recent races, despite their KERS-advantage, and we'll remain in dogged pursuit of this objective right up until the chequered flag in Brazil."
