Damon Hill has extended his deal with Sky Sports F1 HD and will now be part of the team for 12 of the races this season.

Hill was part of the punditry unit in Australia, Malaysia, Bahrain and Spain, providing expert analysis on what has been a thrilling start to the 2012 campaign.

The 1996 World Champion will now join the team in Monaco, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Italy, Singapore, India, Abu Dhabi, the USA and Brazil.

"It's been a fascinating start to season with four different winners in the four grands prix so far including a new but very familiar name in Nico Rosberg," said Hill.

"I've also really enjoyed being part of the new Sky Sports F1 HD channel. The scale of what they do is breathtaking, and I look forward to seeing how the rest of the season develops as part of the team."
